Tal Maisel Shay,
I am a board certified Israeli Psychologist, license number 27-97727.                     I completed   four years of  internship in the Cardiological wing, at Meir medical center, in Kefar Saba, Israel. I treated cardiac Patients and their family members in situations of illness, adjustment disorders, grief, depression, anxiety and trauma.
In addition I have worked, both in therapy and in research, at the Oncology institute, adult Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) clinic, and the general Mental Health clinic.
I graduated with honors from the Academic College Tel Aviv Jaffa on my Bachelor degree in Behavioral science.  I have a master's degree in Heath Psychology, child and adults, from the academic college at Tel Aviv-Jaffa. I was trained and supervised in Schneider Children hospital, at Petah-Tikva. Furthermore, I am a graduate of Cognitive  Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT) program,  continuing  studies of the Bar Ilan University.
In my clinic I treat divers issues related to adjustment difficulties, marital and parental struggles, anxiety, depression, trauma, and bodily symptoms.  I use an integrative approaches of both Cognitive Behavioral Short term Psychotherapy, with dynamic long term therapy. The form of therapy is tailored to each  patient's needs.
Therapy in this clinic is based upon the assumption that dwelling on a pathological issue, and its childhood background, might not serve the best interest of the patient. Rather than that, I believe focusing on recognizing his/her strengths and abilities can help them better cope and deal in a direct and beneficial manner.
I utile tulles and techniques which are evidence based, with commitment to provide  high quality and efficient treatment.
